Buchteln Buns

 Buchlteln Buns

1/2 cup warm milk
2-3 cup of flour
1/3 cup of sugar
1 packet of yeast
2 egg yolks
1 egg
pinch of salt
lemon zest
1tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 stick of butter
1 cup of heavy cream
1tbsp of vanilla extract
sweeten to taste.

Walnuts or almonds pieces.
coconut (optional)

Mix milk yeast and 2 tbsp of flour and one tsp of sugar, let it rise for ten mintues.  After it has risen mix the rest of the ingredients and make dough. Let it rise for 1 hour. separate into about 2 inch balls, then flatten into circles fill them with filling ingredients. Connect the outside to make a ball again. Place them in a round cake pan.  In a seperate bowl mix heavy cream, vanilla and sugar to taste. Pour heavy cream mixture on top of balls.Let the heavy cream mixture and balls sit for about 15 mins before baking. Bake at 350 until its golden brown. Let it cool before serving.
