German Bierocks


Bierocks

Dough recipe
1 1/2 packets of yeast
2 eggs beaten
1/2 cup oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 warm milk
1/2 cup water
 6-7 cups of flour
Filling
1 pound ground beef browned
2 onions slice and cooked
1/2 head of cabbage cooked with the onions
mushrooms cooked with the onions and cabbage
garlic cloves grated into the onion cabbage mix
salt and pepper to taste

First  for the dough add milk, sugar and warm water to your yeast. Let rise. After add the rest of your ingredients to make dough. Cover and let rise for about 1-2 hours. Separate into egg size balls and let rise again for about 10-15 mins. Flatten the dough into a circle shape add your filling and fold the dough over and pinch at the ends.  Shape the dough in to a rectangle or oval shape with the seam facing down on the baking sheet. Spray your baking sheet with pam well.  Rub it with the egg wash. bake at 350 till golden brown. Enjoy!!
