Homemade Bread

If money is tight and you don't mind getting a little dirty, making homemade bread is cheap and yummy. Right I don't have any pictures of my bread but I make it about 3 times a week so I will soon.

Ingredients you will need
flour white or wheat
1 yeast packet
2 1/4 cup warm water
2-3 tbsp veg. oil
1 tbsp sugar
salt to taste.

First in a large mixing bowl  put your yeast sugar and  your warm water. Be sure its warm not to hot or it will burn the yeast. Let the yeast foam for about 5mins. Then add your oil and salt. Next add flour about 1 cup at a time until you dough is not sticky anymore. If you are using wheat flour you will use less so add about 1/2 a cup at a time. Knead the dough for about 6-7 mins. Then form into a ball in a grease mixing bowl cover and let it rise for at least 1 hour. After your dough has risen separate them in to 2 balls. Grease a baking sheet and let them rise again for at least 30mins. Your can score the bread if you like, I do not because it gets puffier I think. Bake at 350 until golden brown. Usually before I take them out a few minutes before I rub the top of them with butter, it gives it a nice flavor when its done. After its bake cover and let it cool.
